Kosciusko County’s Tippy Creek Winery hosted their first annual “Fall Ball Daddy Daughter Dance” this past Friday, October 8th. Featuring an assortment of hot food, delicious desserts, a two-piece band (Beeze and the Rocker) and gift bags along with Beanie Babies, the event welcomed almost 60 attendees. Put together after the second cancellation this year of a popular daddy/daughter dance, the organizers went out of their way to make the evening a special one for all of its guests.
The event featured a dance floor in front of the property’s massive red-and-white-balloon-adorned fireplace with the band set up just off to the side. Playing popular tunes from the 50s to today, the band kept the dance floor full throughout the night. The winery also had beer on tap along with their assorted wines, offering the dads in the audience a little refreshment of their own.
An event photographer was also present to take pictures of the young ladies and their dates as they enjoyed the dance floor or posed in front of the fireplace. Guests could also wander outside, where the winery’s expansive patio offered up plenty of space to roam around. A gas firepit was also lit and became a popular spot for attendees to gather around as the evening went on.
Judging by the smiles from the girls and their dads, the evening was nothing short of a success. Based on the inaugural event, the winery has already announced that they will be hosting another daddy daughter dance along with a tea party and movie nights next year.
