If you’ve been looking for a reason to visit Kosciusko County in Indiana and its county seat of Warsaw, the featured video might be enough of a teaser to do the trick. Highlighting the historic and picturesque downtown area, the video offers a quick glimpse into what makes downtown Warsaw a favored destination of locals. With shops, boutiques and restaurants such as the exemplary One Ten Craft Meatery, hometown favorite Buzz on Buffalo, the 1000-bottles-of-whiskey-and counting Anthology Whiskey Room and a new brewery location, downtown Warsaw offers plenty to do for everyone.
Within walking distance of the downtown are but not included in the video is Warsaw’s Central Park and Center Lake. Home to a summer concert series, festivals, various other events and one of the world’s few biblical gardens, the park and lake have earned their monikers as the center of life in downtown Warsaw. With the continued development of the lakefront, there are even more reasons you should make putting a visit to Warsaw on your travel shortlist.
Downtown Warsaw also includes plenty of outdoor seating, giant murals that take up half a block, green areas and countless characters and personalities to make your visit a memorable one. Farmers markets occur every Saturday morning and First Fridays take place on, you guessed it, the first Friday of each month. Also, if you purchased Kosciusko Cash before the program expired May 15th, you can still use it for five years, helping to ensure your dollar goes a lot further!
An extra special thanks to my brother Ted for letting me snag another one of his amazing videos. He might be the middle child but with videos like this provided free of charge, we’ll continue to claim him.
