HopLore Brewing to Open Location in Downtown Warsaw – Now Open!

In a post to the Facebook page of the Warsaw Community Development Corporation, it was announced that HopLore Brewing will be opening a new location in downtown Warsaw. HopLore, which currently has its original location in Leesburg in the old mill, will be opening up a new location at 307 W. Market St. The building, which the group purchased, is located just east of the post office. It is currently home to a National Auto Insurance office which occupies the front half of the building. There’s no word yet on which part of the building HopLore will be located.

It was previously announced that HopLore was opening another location on Argonne Road but those plans seem to have changed. There has been no official announcement regarding what is going to happen with that location but an educated guess would lead you to believe that project has been nixed and replaced with the downtown Warsaw location.

I’ve always hoped HopLore would open a location in the Warsaw/Winona Lake community. While the drive to Leesburg isn’t an especially long one, being located in the county’s highest populated is a positive step. With the unfortunate closing of the popular OrthoCity, there is definitely a niche looking to be filled.

If  you haven’t been to the current HopLore location and want to check it out, you should give it a try. We were big fans of it on our visit to HopLore Brewing and probably would have gone back sooner if it had been closer. It’s Rasta, an American porter, still remains one of my favorite beers. Now I just need to figure out a way to convince them to bring it back.

What do you think of the new location? Is HopLore going to be on your list of restaurants to visit? It will be on ours for sure.

UPDATE
The latest word on the street is that they owners are aiming to be open by Memorial Day weekend. We’ll update the article when we have more information!

Hoplore Brewing’s new location in downtown Warsaw is now open! Starting September 27th, patrons could visit the new location at 307 W. Market St. According to a post on the Facebook page for the new production facility and tasting room, it will feature “small plates and share-ables including shareable favorites from the restaurant location in Leesburg.”

The downtown Warsaw location also features an outdoor dining/drinking area on the east side of the building along with a brand new façade. Hours have yet to be announced.
